I never knew residences' lifts play april fool's joke too, haha.
This is what happened.
Two wanderers went down to nanyang supermarket to buy some stuff.
With some money.
With only a transponder.
Without any phone.
After shopping is done, we took the infamous b12l8 lift.
Everything as usual.
Press transponder, wait for the light, press button 8.
And lift went up, slowly as usual.
Then it stopped and the doors opened.
oh, the kitchen cleaning auntie is outside waiting for the lift too :)
So out we went and in she entered.
Then, geraldine tried opening the cluster gate with her transponder.
But, no reponse.
No usual "beep" sound.
peiyee: eh, no battery? but i thought mine was the one battery low?
geraldine: only got one transponder leh..try the lift again see got problem? or try calling daomin? like last time how she called pam? But this time must louder, daomin is so far away.
...
DAOMIN!!! DAOMIN!!!
(banging of cluster gate)
DAOMIN DAOMIN DAOMIN!!!!
...
10 minutes later
DAOMIN!! DAOMIN!!
(still banging of cluster gate)
...
(gave up and went to try the lift)
geraldine: what if got people inside?
peiyee: then we go down and come up again lor.

The lift went from X floor up to 8th floor but didn't open.
Then 8 change to 7.
(lift door open, weird hor)
but our neighbour from room A is inside!!
(our faces brightened up)
(but she doesn't seem to be coming out? )
peiyee: 可以帮我们开门吗？我们开不到。
("huh?" look on her face)
neighbour: 这是七楼耶，...，电梯怪怪的。
i turned back and looked
